Time of my Life

Hello everyone!!!
This week has been a pretty good week! We still have no baptisms to
announce, but as long as I am working hard to bring people into Christ
right?!

We have been doing service at a nursing home called The Webster House.
It is a lot of fun! I met a guy named Doug who grew up in New York!
Right by Palmyra and the Hill Cumorah! It was a lot of fun to sit down
and talk to him about that area. We also met a cute guy named Kirby.
He kept telling us how much he loved the mormons! He also played us
the heart and soul song on the piano, both hands! Hermana Killian
tried to learn it but couldn't.

We are helping a lady named Anne move out of her apartment. She is
pretty... interesting... she moves out on Wednesday so hopefully
things go smoothly and we won't get too stressed out. She keeps
calling us the Hansen and Killian moving company... I don't think we
are that great at packing boxes! :)

This week we learned how to make pupusas! That is a delicious meal
from El Salvador! They are so good! We also learned how to make
Mexican rice and chicken! Yum!!!

Lily is progressing really well! We taught her about the plan of
salvation this week. She is a smart little nine year old! The only
problem we are having right now is getting the family to church. I
hope we can get over that obstacle and re activate their family.

Bladimir is doing really well. He doesn't have a baptismal date
anymore for reasons I can't say, but he is progressing and will
hopefully have a baptismal date again soon :)

We have been praying this week about Boni. We are never able to get
into his house because he is a guy so we felt like we should give him
to the elders. I hope that he will still progress with them. He is an
amazing investigator!

Arturo received the priesthood yesterday! Por fin!!!! It has been over
two months since he has been baptized! It was a really great day.
Hermana Killian and I can't wait for him to be able to go and do
baptisms!

This week we made a list of potential investigators and have been
stopping by their houses. If they aren't home then we made a goal to
walk around the block. We found 2 new investigators this way! One is
named Angel and the other is Daniel! Daniel said that when he was
younger the missionaries would visit his home in Guatemala. He even
remembered the name of he Elder! He then asked us if we still read the
BOM, of course! I think he is going to be awesome!!!

I am having the time of my life serving the people here in San Jose! I
will write next week about all of the new adventures we make!
