Hola a todos!
This week has been really fun!
The fun things:
We have started volunteering at a nursing home! They have people with alzheimer's. That is mostly all that I can say because of a clause that we had to sign. I helped with arts and crafts! We made chinese lanterns! The people are all so nice there and it made me happy to help!
At dinner last Tuesday I had asked about this dessert that we had eaten a couple weeks earlier just so that I could remember its name, then the next day the Hermano had bought some! Latinos are so awesome!!! By the way it is called Mochi (it is a japanese ice cream).
We had a missionary conference! It was really spiritual and uplifting! We got a new mission schedule which is pretty cool. We now plan in the mornings instead of the evenings! I love it! It means that I can go to bed an hour earlier! Also on P-day we only have a half an hour of studies and then the rest of the day is ours! They were really concerned about the health of their missionaries.
We are now teaching a part member family. We taught their daughter Lily about the restoration and they had taught her everything which is awesome! The only thing they didn't teach her was Joseph Smith's name! She started telling his story and she started it off with, "I think his name was Norman!" She is so cute! Norman Smith, our first prophet! The rest of the story was perfect!
Something interesting that happened this week was we went to dinner at a members house and we started to share a message about the BOM with her kids who are all under the age of 12 and one of their friends who was over. All of a sudden she started talking about the Law of Chastity... Hermana Killian and I looked over at each other with shock in our faces. We did not know what to do! That was really awkward! I was even more awkward when she turned to us and asked us to explain it in English so that they would understand better... So yaaaaa.....That happened.....
That is about it that happened this week. Our investigators are still progressing. They are all amazing and I love them!
Love you all too!
